    ELECTRICITY:
    A part of Georgia's modern integrated electrical transmission system, Franklin has excellent ability to supply industrial demands. Compared to 47% for the U.S., coal accounts for 84% of fuel used by the state's power generating plants. this assures long-term continuity.

    NATURAL GAS:
    Available in industrial quantities on both a firm and an interruptible basis.

    WATER & SEWER SERVICES:
    Heard County maintains a county-wide water system providing 3.08 MGD with an average consumption of 1.3 MGD. Elevated storage capacity is currently 1.6 MGD. Additionally, ground water supplies from domestic wells are maintained by private landowners.

    Sewage treatment is provided within the City of Franklin including a plant load of 160,000 GPD average and 200,000 peak. 

    Impact charge for water service is based on the size.
